UDP Ping Client - Python - python

I am trying to implement a UDP Pinger. In the client code that I wrote, the try statement is not evaluating and just the packet loss message is printing. It is clear that the try statement is not even being hit. I have tried so many different things and nothing has fixed it. Please let me know if you know the issue.

udp client/server with resending messages

I have a client and a server. The server sends a random number to the client and if it is less than 4, the client responds unsuccessfully.

I want the client to send a message to the server in case of failure and the server to regenerate the number and send it to the client until there is a response about luck (more than 4)

Why does my UDP pinger client only timeout?

I've made a UDP Pinger server side, however this UDP Pinger client only sends request time outs. I'm trying to make a pinger that sends 10 pings to the server.

How to end a server socket listen

So what i'm trying to do is to make a multi-threaded server that creates threads for each client that connects to it, and replies back the string sent from the client.
It sort of works, but my server doesn't actually end properly. My KerboardInterrupt catch doesn't seem to work in windows command prompt, only thing that lets me exit the process would be ctrl + pause/break. Can anyone help me think of a way to get the server to end gracefully?

Also if anyone else has any general improvements they would add to this code, let me know. I'm still pretty new at python, and still rough at it.
Here is the normal intended input i'm getting from my server.
But when it gets to the last client that connects, it starts to drag on for some reason.
The last picture, the inputs go on for the majority of the text file, for a very long time. Seems like something isn't ending properly.
Solved by adding an if statement that checks for a byte < 0 , if it is, end the socket.

How can I have multiple clients on a TCP Python Chat Server?

Any help on how I can get this to accept more than one client, and why it isn't at the moment? Thanks!

Here is an example of a simple tcp server that accepts multiple clients. All this one does receive data from the client and return "OK .. " + the_data. However, you could easily modify it to have a function that broadcasts the data(chat msg) to all clients connected. This example uses threading. You should google for the select module. With regards to your threads, are you sure you are a) using the right module/method for the job and b) that you are calling it in the right way?
