I have a script which I want to run on a daily basis at the same time, automatically. I tried to use Windows Task Scheduler. but no luck so far. FYI I can run the same script from the console without any issue.
I tried
where python
C:\Users\name\Anaconda3\python.exe
C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38\python.exe
C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps\python.exe
on TaskScheduler

Add arguments: Nomura_Daily_PnL_Check.py
Start in: "C:\Users\name\Jobs\scripts_need_to_run_daily"
when the scheduled time come, literally nothing happens. No error, No output, nothing!
what is wrong in this process?
try mentioning values without double inverted commas, like:
Program/script: C:\Users\name\AppData\Local\Programs\Python\Python38\python.exe
Add arguments: Nomura_Daily_PnL_Check.py
Start in: C:\Users\name\Jobs\scripts_need_to_run_daily
Also first try to run a simple program, lets say a python program which will write to a file so that you will know whether task is failing or there is some issue with your program.

I am writing a Python program to analyze log files. So basically I have about 30000 medium-size log files and my Python script is designed to perform some simple (line-by-line) analysis of each log file. Roughly it takes less than 5 seconds to process one file.
So once I set up the processing, I just left it there and after about 14 hours when I came back, my Python script simply paused right after analyzing one log file; seems that it hasn't written into the file system for the analyzing output of this file, and that's it. No more proceeding.
I checked the memory usage, it seems fine (less than 1G), I also tried to write to the file system (touch test), it also works as normal. So my question is that, how should I proceed to debug the issue? Could anyone share some thoughts on that? I hope this is not too general. Thanks.
You may use Trace or track Python statement execution and/or The Python Debugger module.
Try this tool https://github.com/khamidou/lptrace with command:
sudo python lptrace -p <process_id>
It will print every python function your program invokes and may help you understand where your program stucks or in an infinity loop.
If it does not output anything, that's proberbly your program get stucks, so try
pstack <process_id>
to check the stack trace and find out where stucks. The output of pstack is c frames, but I believe somehow you can find something useful to solve your problem.
is there a way to restart another script in another shell?
i have script that sometimes stuck waiting to read email from gmail and imap. from another script i would like to restart the main one but without stopping the execution of the second

After your last comment and as the syntax show that you are using Windows, I assume that you want to launch a Python script in another console. The magic word here is START if you want that the launching execute in parallel with the new one, or START /W if you want to wait for the end of the subprocess.
In your case, you could use:
subprocess.call(["cmd.exe", "/c", "START", "C:\Path\To\PYTHON.EXE",
"C:\Users\light\Documents\Python\BOTBOL\Gmail\V1\send.py"])
Subprocess has an option called shell which is what you want. Os calls are blocking which means that only after the command is completed will the interpreter move to the next line. On the other hand subprocess popens are non blocking, however both these commands will spawn off child process from the process running this code. If you want to run in shell and get access shell features to execute this , try the shell = True in subprocess.

This will allow you to run 2 things f.e.
Have 1 run on checkin email and the other one on inputs so it wont stop at those moments and making multiple 'shelves' possible, as they are parallel.

I want to execute a testrun via bash, if the test needs too much time. So far, I found some good solutions here. But since the command kill does not work properly (when I use it correctly it says it is not used correctly), I decided to solve this problem using python. This is the Execution call I want to monitor:

(The opened *.exe starts a testrun which includes some simulink simulation runs - sometimes there are simulink errors - in this case, the execution time of the tests need too long and I want to restart the entire process).
First, I came up with the idea, calling a shell script containing these lines within a subprocess from python:

import time
process = subprocess.Popen('subprocess.sh', shell = True)
time.sleep(10)
process.terminate()
But when I use this, *.terminate() or *.kill() does not close the program I started with the subprocess call.
That´s why I am now trying to implement the entire call in python language. I got the following so far:

Now I need to know, how to implement the second call "Auslieferung (ML) Execute" of the bash function. This call starts an intern testrun named "Auslieferung (ML) Execute". Any ideas? Or is it better to choose one of the other ways? Or can I get the "kill" option for bash somewhere, somehow?
I have multiple recurring tasks scheduled to run several times per day to keep some different data stores in sync with one another. The settings for the 'Actions' tab are as follows:
Action: Start a Program
Program/script: C:\<path to script>.py
Add arguments:
Start in: C:\<directory of script>
I can run the python files just fine if I use the command line and navigate to the file location and use python or even just using python without navigating.
For some reason, the scripts just won't run with a scheduled task. I've checked all over and tried various things like making sure the user profile is set correctly and has all of the necessary privileges, which holds true. These scripts have been working for several weeks now with no problems, so something has changed that we aren't able to identify at this time.
Any suggestions?

Yes. Any tool that can run arbitrary programs can run your Python script. Pick the one you like best.

What batch file? Task Scheduler takes anything that can be run, with arguments—a C program, a .NET program, even a document with a default app associated with it. So, there's no reason you need a batch file. Use C:\Python33\python.exe (or whatever the appropriate path is) as your executable, and your script's path (and its arguments, if any) as the arguments. Just as you do when running the script from the command line.
See Using the Task Scheduler in MSDN for some simple examples, and Task Scheduler Schema Elements or Task Scheduler Scripting Objects for reference (depending on whether you want to create the schedule in XML, or via the scripting interface).
You want to create an ExecAction with Path set to "C:\Python33\python.exe" and Arguments set to "C:\MyStuff\myscript.py", and a RepetitionPattern with Interval set to "PT1H". You should be able to figure out the rest from there.
As sr2222 points out in the comments, often you end up scheduling tasks frequently, and needing to programmatically control their scheduling. If you need this, you can control Task Scheduler's scripting interface from Python, or build something on top of Task Scheduler, or use a different tool that's a bit easier to get at from Python and has more helpful examples online, etc.—but when you get to that point, take a step back and look at whether you're over-using OS task scheduling. (If you start adding delays or tweaking times to make sure the daily foo1.py job never runs until 5 minutes after the most recent hourly foo0.py has finished its job, you're over-using OS task scheduling—but it's not always that obvious.)
May I suggest WinAutomation or AutoMate. These two do the exact same thing, except the UI is a little different. I prefer WinAutomation, because the scripts are a little easier to build.
