I'm trying to use the NLTK module in IDLE but it can't find the moduleāI noticed NLTK had downloaded to my system's default python directory for the 2.7 version, so I found the file path to the "site-packages" folder in 3.8 and copied NLTK there, but now when I try to "import NLTK" in python I get this error message:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<pyshell#0>", line 1, in <module>

As I understand your intention is to use the NLTK package that you have installed for Python 2.7 , in Python 3.8, correct ?
In such case you shouldn't copy the library yourself, but rather use pip3 to install it once again into P3.8.

I am trying to run a program (obviously written in python) and it requires some python modules. One of the missed modules is aiomultiprocess. I tried installing it with pip install aiomultiprocess pip3 install aiomultiprocess python3.7 -m pip install aiomultiprocess but they all come back with the same error message:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in <module>

from setuptools import windows_support
File "/usr/local/lib/python3.7/site-packages/setuptools/windows_support.py", line 2, in <module>
import ctypes
File "/usr/local/lib/python3.7/ctypes/__init__.py", line 10, in <module>
from _ctypes import Union, Structure, Array
File "/usr/local/lib/python3.7/_ctypes.py", line 5, in <module>
import ffi
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'ffi'
No ffi module?! Let's get it!
I looked it up and figured it's a foreign library that come, in the case of python, as 2 forms: CFFI & LibFFI, but "ffi" doesn't exist for python. I installed cffi libffi and added them to this path /usr/local/lib/python3.7/site-packages/, but it changed nothing.
So my question is there another way to install python modules without the need of pip??!
I have tried all the import methods and upgrading the libraries but still I'm unable to get over this error. I have downloaded and installed all the nltk and corpus data programmatically and it is working in the python shell but i'm getting error.

Here's a pastebin to my code and imports..
Same error has been posted on github here. Use this instead to install textblob:
$ pip install -U git+https://github.com/sloria/textblob-aptagger.git#dev
Also, you should change from text.blob import TextBlob as tbto from textblob...
Works for me..
My issue is possibly similar to link
but thought I'd ask jic. I'm on osx and trying to use jedi-vim. I installed jedi using pip and then jedi-vim by cloning into the dir that my vim config uses for loading packages. this one for reference. When I start vim with a python program I get the "Please install Jedi if..." message. I cloned vim 74 and configured with +python and +conceal. After still getting the error I looked into the code and found it was an import error.
As an aside, this isn't the best help message. Better might be "Unable to import jedi. Have you installed Jedi?"
I tried import jedi from within vim, as :python import jedi
Traceback (most recent call last):

If this is a build issue, is there a good reference for building vim on mac?
Here is my error:

openpyxl module has 2 dependent modules : 1. jdcal 2. et_xmlfile
I was able to install openpyxl module and this is what I did :
1.Downloaded the openpyxl,jdcal and et_xmlfile from https://pypi.python.org/pypi and saved jdcal-1.0.tar.gz, et_xmlfile-1.0.0.tar.gz,openpyxl-2.3.0-b2.tar.gz in a local folder in my system.
2.Then I ran the commands in the following order :
pip install jdcal-1.0.tar.gz
pip install et_xmlfile-1.0.0.tar.gz
pip install openpyxl-2.3.0-b2.tar.gz
openpyxl got successfully after this. Please check whether this helps.
I am trying to install pyshark in windows. [Python 2.6].
When I try to import pyshark in my python code.
I get the following error -

looks like the lxml.objectify is not available, but I have installed lxml.
If you're on Windows (and it looks like you are), download and install lxml from Christoph Gohlke's Python Extension Packages.
Then you should be able to use pyshark.
Recently, I tried different packages for Python. You can try firstly pip install xyz, if it is not workable then swift to Anaconda or miniconda and write conda install xyz in cmd.
