I make this topic as we have a problem uploading a python archive in Azure. We did a modular code with python, which is a text generator. The code is working on python environment, besides we wanted to upload it to the cloud. When we tried it, we used the App service of Microsoft azure, we didn’t have any trouble while we were doing the process this way. Nevertheless, at the end, the program gave us a json, when we tried to put that URL into the navigator… There’s were the problem is, the generated Jason doesn’t connect with the navigator. We don’t have any clue of what’s happening, because the console doesn´t give any warning or error.
If any of you knows or have a tip for us to solve this problem, I would appreciate it,

Welcome to Stack Overflow! From what I understand, I suppose you should be going with Azure Automation Runbooks instead of Azure App Service, if you intend to execute or automate a task-like job. You can also test your runbook and implement error handling streams to ensure it works as expected. Please refer to this example for a detailed walkthrough.

Over the past few weeks I've been coding a program which runs a reddit bot locally from my machine. I've perfected it such that it does not reply to the same comment which it has replied to before, it runs quite efficiently, and in my opinion is complete.
Now, I'm looking for a way to get the program to run on a schedule. I currently have the code in google colab, and I don't know how to use google colab for this functionality.
The program does not require any local storage, it's one code file, and does not require much memory, so I wanted to ask if anyone has a resource which has an detailed tutorial accessible for beginners which I could use to host this code
Note: The code requires an installation of PRAW, in google colab I simply do !pip install PRAW if that means anything differently for what I need to do, what should I do differently?

Google Collab is not designed for this kind of things, and most likely it cannot be used to run your app on schedule.
Probably the easiest solution is some kind of Continuous Integration tool that lets you run code remotely.
Step 1 would be to host your code to some remote code repository like GitHub. Since it most likely won't have to be interactive switching from Collab notebook to simple Python script will make your config much easier later on.
Step 2 would be connecting that repo to some CI tool. One I am familiar with that lets you run pipelines on schedule is CircleCI, with this tutorial here showing very simplistic configuration for running Python scripts from a pipeline.
Need advice on how to incorporate Python into an Azure ASP.NET web application environment. Please excuse this question but I am new to Azure and I'm not clear on how to proceed. Every option that I look into looks promising but they all seem to have their own issues. Below is a more thorough explanation but the deal is that I have an Azure account with all kinds of goodies, a full fledged ASP.NET (C#) web app running via App Service, I am new to Azure (but not Python), and I'm hoping to add Python functionality to this whole setup. In short:
I want to add Python to this setup mainly to run scheduled jobs and also to trigger Python code from ASP.NET web form submissions
ideally I want a solution that resembles a non-cloud setup. I know this sounds silly but I'm finding the cloud/Azure functionality to be nuanced and not straightforward. I want a place to put a bunch of Python scripts, run, edit, schedule and trigger them from ASP.NET
for example: I created a WebJob that runs manually and from the documentation it wasn't clear how it should be called. I just figured out that you need to POST with Basic Auth (and the credentials provided).
!Also, Azure CMD does NOT like files with 'underscore _' in them! You cannot submit a Web Job with a py file with an underscore nor can you write output with a file with an underscore
!Also, I don't see an option for this Web Job to run Python 3.6.4 (which I installed via extension). Right now it is using 2.7.15...
!Also, CRON expression in Azure has six *, not five plus a command. Again, more weird stuff to worry about

Currently I have an ASP.NET site running via Azure App Service and I would like to add Python scripts and possibly Flask/Rest functionality. Note that I am not expecting to serve any content via Python and will largely be running Python scripts either on a scheduled basis or call them from ASP.NET. As a matter of fact, and this is an important point, I'm hoping to have ASP.NET trigger/run a Python script when a web form is submitted. I realize that I could get a similar effect if I make a web call to a Rest api that is running Python. In any event, I can't tell if I should:
add a Python extension to the current App Service running the web page (I tried this) OR
I did install Python 3.6.4 and some packages via pip

The idea is to ramp up the use of Python although, like I said, I don't expect Python to be serving any of the web content. It will be used to run in the background and to run scheduled jobs. What is the most robust and hopefully easiest way to add Python functionality to Azure (most importantly in a way to be able to trigger/use Python from an App Service running .NET?)? I've searched online and stack overflow so far with interesting finds but nothing to my liking.

I found a solution, though I'm open to more info. Like I mentioned in my post, I used the 'add extension' tool to add Python 3.6.4 to my Azure (installed in D:\home\python364x64).
Then I installed a bunch of packages via pip, these installed into D:\home\python364x64\Lib\site-packages.
I created a Python folder in webpages\Python where I put my scripts.
Finally, in ASP.NET I used the Diagnostics.Process call to run my code in ~\webpages\Python\somecode_2.py
The main issue is that Azure came with Python 2.7.15 installed. And for some reason when my Python code got executed it was using 3.4 (where that version came from beats me). So for each script, I had to create an _2.py version where I simply did the following in order to call the original script via Python 3.6.4. Looks a little nasty but it works. So like I said, I would welcome more info for ways to do this better...

My problem is down to my lack of experience with django (and coding) and stripe.
I am trying to test a very basic stripe payment on a test form on my local development server, but I am getting an error message when I try to start my local development server.

You need to define STRIPE_PUBLIC_KEY (and STRIPE_SECRET_KEY I believe) in your settings.py. You can get this key from stripe if you have an account.

I currently simply have a local website on my Mac. I can view the webpage's HTMl and CSS and run the javascript functions in browser on my computer, but the next step I want to take is incorporating python scripts for accessing a MySQL database and returning results.
I am clearly new to this, and would love some guidance. Right now, on my computer, I have MySQL installed and I can run it in the terminal just fine. What else do I need as far as database and server equipment – if anything – to get some dynamic website running locally? My current, albeit incredibly limited, understanding is that I have a MySQL database stored on my machine that can be accessed through a Python script – also on my machine – and a link to this script in the HTML file. Is this even right, or do you recommend certain tutorials to fill in the gaps or teach me from the ground up?

If you have MySQL installed on your machine along with Python, get a version of MySQLDb library for Python and have fun with it. Moreover, you can do almost any data operation with these combinations. If you want your website to go live (and do not wish to go through web frameworks) just look for a hosting plan that gives you a Python installed server access.
