Django - Url patatterns dose not work

I started working with Django yesterday and I have a little error. I searched on the internet but I cant find the answer for my problem. I made the main app and then I make a little app and tried to link it to the main. Here is my code
urls.py
from django.contrib import admin
from django.urls import path, include
ulrpatterns = [
path('admin/', admin.site.urls),
path('^$', include('personal.urls'));
]
in my personal.urls I have
from django.urls import path, include
from . import views
ulrpatterns = [
path('^$', views.index, name="index");
]
and in views.index I have
def index(request):
return render(request, 'personal/home.html')

You are using the wrong tool here: since django-2.0, there are basically two ways to specify a URL:
with a regex through re_path [Django-doc], url [Django-doc] is an "alias" of this, but will probably eventually get deprecated; and
by using a specific "path pattern" syntax with path [Django-doc]
Here you somehow mixed the two, and use path(..) function for a "regex-specified" URL.
Using path for path pattern-based URLs
We can also fix it by using path:
# urls.py
from django.contrib import admin
from django.urls import path, include
ulrpatterns = [
path('admin/', admin.site.urls),
path('', include('personal.urls'));
]
and:
# personal/urls.py
from django.urls import path, include
from . import views
ulrpatterns = [
path('', views.index, name="index");
]
Using re_path for regular expression-based URLs
We can also fix it by using re_path instead:
# urls.py
from django.contrib import admin
from django.urls import re_path, include
ulrpatterns = [
re_path('admin/', admin.site.urls),
re_path('^$', include('personal.urls'));
]
and:
# personal/urls.py
from django.urls import re_path, include
from . import views
ulrpatterns = [
re_path('^$', views.index, name="index");
]

django URLconf current path didn't match

Using the URLconf defined in mysite.urls, Django tried these URL patterns, in this order:
polls/ [name='index']
admin/
The current path, polls/, didn't match any of these.

If you want your view index as a home view, the first page to be rendered on the address localhost:port/.
Then,
In polls.urls.py should be (the same as yours):
...
path('', views.index, name='index'),
...
And in project.urls.py
...
path('', include('polls.urls')),
...
It should work.
An extra.
Now if you want to render on the address, lets say, localhost:port/polls
Then your path pattern inside you app.url, (not project.url), would be:
path('polls/', polls_view, name='polls')

Since you are accessing localhost:8000, the search path is empty string '' and in your project urls, there are only two pattern for polls and admin. That's why you are getting the error. So you need to access localhost:8000/polls to get the result from index view of polls app.

I am a beginner and I have been troubled for a long time with the same problem.
The key to the problem is the directory:
mysite/
mysite/
polls/
....
I suspect that you have created a new file(urls.py) in mysite(The outermost layer of folders) directory and it's invalid. You should modify the file: mysite/mysite/urls.py

Django URLs file error

I have the following urls.py file in a Django project, and I am getting an error which I assume is relating to the latest syntax relating to urls and paths.
The code I have in the urls file which is url.py in the mysite (outermost directory) is:

from django.conf.urls import url, include
urlpatterns = [
path(r'^$', include('aboutme.urls')),
]
The error message is:

^$
The empty path didn't match any of these.
In the actual app (website folder) which is called 'aboutme', the urls.py file looks like this:

from django.conf.urls import url, include
from .import views #this is the main thing we are going to be doing ....returning views!

path(r'^$', views.index,name='index'),
]
Can anyone shed any light on the correct syntax or what I am doing wrong?

I also went back and tried to update the main mysite's url.py file to include the admin commands (which were in the previously working version). The code and resultant error are also shown below:

Remove the ^ and $ in the urls.py files.
from django.urls import path
from django.conf.urls import url, include
urlpatterns = [
path(r'', include('aboutme.urls')),
]
And in your app urls.py:
from django.urls import path
from django.conf.urls import url, include
from .import views #this is the main thing we are going to be doing
app_name="myappname"
urlpatterns = [
path(r'', views.index,name='index'),
]
In django 2.0 they are not needed anymore if you are using path().

Django new URL not working

I'm trying to access a URL, http://localhost:8000/calc, but it gives me this error:

This is what I currently have for mysite URL and secondapp URL:

As per the URL configuration you have stated in mysite.url and secondapp.url you link would be
localhost:8000/calc/calc/
which IMO would be confusing, if I am correct, URL you want is
localhost:8000/calc/
For that you have to change the url you have defined in secondapp.url to
from django.conf.urls import url
from secondapp.views import CalcPage
urlpatterns = [
url(r'$', CalcPage.as_view(), name='calc'),
]
This would make the ClacPage accessible on
localhost:8000/calc/
See / is very important when defining URLs.

use below reg-ex in urls.py

Django, url not found?

I'm trying out Python Django. With eclipse pyDev. But I'm unable to simply get my first url to display.
This urls.py is from the Cr package.

This urlspy is from the Crowd package.

from django.contrib import admin

So what I've understood from this the Crowd package is the "main" webservice(?), and by using include I can whenever the regular expression matches Crowd, will pass it on to the other urls.py(Cr). But the debugger passes:

Can we see your settings.py file? There is a place in there where you define your project's url file. I'm assuming it's right now either not there or it's pointing to the wrong place, because Django can't find your urls.py file.
For example, in my settings.py file for one of my projects, I have:
ROOT_URLCONF = 'Freya.urls'
Where "Freya" is my project name
Just for reference, not that I know this will solve your problem, this is what (part of) my urls.py file looks like for one of my projects:
