Installing Tensorflow on Docker with Raspberry Pi 3 - python

I want to install Tensorflow v1.12.0 on a Docker-container which is running on a Raspberry Pi 3 B Plus using a Dockerfile from python:3.6-slim.
I am aware that i need to take into account that im using an armv7l architecture.
So far I tried installing with pip/pip3 with and without information about version and with and without the use of my requirements.txt.
This way all other needed packages can be installed with pip.
But I am getting the Error:
Step 5/13 : RUN pip install tensorflow==1.12.0
---> Running in d0ecb01c7fbc
Collecting tensorflow==1.12.0
Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement tensorflow==1.12.0 (from versions: )
No matching distribution found for tensorflow==1.12.0
The command '/bin/bash -c pip install tensorflow==1.12.0' returned a non-zero code: 1
Then I tried installing with the armv7l miniconda. But it seems the Tensorflow package is not supported with that version of miniconda.
Lastly I tried installing from a precompiled wheel for arm from this repo: https://github.com/lhelontra/tensorflow-on-arm/releases.
Like so: RUN pip install https://github.com/lhelontra/tensorflow-on-arm/releases/download/v1.12.0/tensorflow-1.12.0-cp35-none-linux_armv7l.whl
Here I changed to python:3.5-slim which starts out fine but seems to stop somewhere and results in a broken pipe (I am doing this remote).
I dont know what I could try next and didn't find anything else online.

Error in building wheel for cryptography while installing firebase-admin on raspberry pi 3

I was installing firebase-admin using pip on my raspberry pi 3b+ using the following command:
pip3 install firebase-admin
However it always ends with an error saying "Error building wheel for cryptography"
Here is the full error message:
/tmp/pip-build-env-k7qo7p54/overlay/lib/python3.7/site-packages/setuptools/command/build_py.py:202: SetuptoolsDeprecationWarning: Installing 'cryptography.hazmat.bindings._rust' as data is deprecated, please list it in packages.

# Package would be ignored #
############################
Python recognizes 'cryptography.hazmat.bindings._rust' as an importable package,
but it is not listed in the `packages` configuration of setuptools.
'cryptography.hazmat.bindings._rust' has been automatically added to the distribution only
because it may contain data files, but this behavior is likely to change
in future versions of setuptools (and therefore is considered deprecated).
Please make sure that 'cryptography.hazmat.bindings._rust' is included as a package by using
the `packages` configuration field or the proper discovery methods
(for example by using `find_namespace_packages(...)`/`find_namespace:`
instead of `find_packages(...)`/`find:`).
You can read more about "package discovery" and "data files" on setuptools
documentation page.

If you are seeing a compilation error please try the following steps to
successfully install cryptography:
1) Upgrade to the latest pip and try again. This will fix errors for most
users. See: https://pip.pypa.io/en/stable/installing/#upgrading-pip
2) Read https://cryptography.io/en/latest/installation/ for specific
instructions for your platform.
3) Check our frequently asked questions for more information:

4) Ensure you have a recent Rust toolchain installed:

error: can't find Rust compiler
If you are using an outdated pip version, it is possible a prebuilt wheel is available for this package but pip is not able to install from it. Installing from the wheel would avoid the need for a Rust compiler.
To update pip, run:
pip install --upgrade pip
and then retry package installation.
If you did intend to build this package from source, try installing a Rust compiler from your system package manager and ensure it is on the PATH during installation. Alternatively, rustup (available at https://rustup.rs) is the recommended way to download and update the Rust compiler toolchain.
This package requires Rust >=1.48.0.

note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.

I have tried different commands like:
pip3 install firebase-admin
or
python -m pip install firebase-admin
I have upgraded pip and tried again, but still it didn't work
I faced a similar problem long time ago and solved by installing openssl. Tried it this time, it didn't work
Also tried installing rust compiler and using it but it didn't work
I am using Raspbian OS Buster on my Raspberry Pi 3
I have tried fresh installs of the OS
Still the same problem occurs

problems in installing python packages in qpython3

I'm intermediate in python and I started learning about ML. I use qpython3 app on my android phone and as I need to use some packages such as numpy, I have to install them.
when I run the command
pip install numpy
I get an error that says that my
python version needs to be updated.
I tried many other compilers that run python 3.9 but still can't install libraries.
In Pydroid app, it requires to install an additional plugin app but I can never install it and many others have the same problem as me.

cannot install tensorflow-text using pip despite having tensorflow 2.0.0-beta1 installed

My tensorflow 2.0.0beta1 runs normally, but I cannot install tensorflow-text using the command pip install tensorflow-text (as described on the tensorflow page). I can find it using pip search tensorflow-text but I am getting an error
ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement tensorflow-text (from versions: none)
There are no requirements for this package (i.e. a specific python version).
I am running on windows, using conda, python 3.6.9
Update
The first release candidate of 2.4.0 was published today which features windows wheels for the first time. 2.4.0rc0 on PyPI. Note that only wheels for Python 3.6 and 3.7 are working properly at the moment. Install via e.g.
> py -3.7 -m pip install tensorflow-text==2.4.0rc0
Original answer
At the time of writing this, tensorflow-text is not available for Windows yet.
Windows is something we do wish to add. We've had some difficulties getting a working package though, which is why it is not available yet. The difference between this library and tensorflow-probability is we make use of custom ops written in c++, and building those shared libraries to work well with Tensorflow inside Windows has had issues; plus, the lengthy build times on Windows has made iterating on these issues slow. While the next beta release (this week) will not include Windows, we would like for the next release to include it.

SciPy can't install old version Windows 10

I'm trying to install an older version of SciPy (either 0.16.1 or 0.17.0), but when I try to use pip I get the result:
pip install scipy==0.16.1
I get the following message
Failed building wheel for scipy
So I found the .whl file here https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#numpy but the problem is that the version here is 1.0.1, and I can't seem to find any older ones, even in the SciPy website (there are for linux and mac)
.
.
PS.
I need to use either of this versions because I'm trying to run Theano on a GPU, and the tutorial provided here http://deeplearning.net/software/theano/install_windows.html says this version is a requirement if there is any tutorial that is better and more up-to-date I would be appreciated

How to get Python packages installed as .exe to run on Windows 10; "failed to create process"

After installing Python 3.5.1 on Windows 10 x64, cpplint installed from pip produces the error: failed to create process. There seems to be a possibly related issue with pip related to having a space in the path, which exists in my use case. It seems to be related to how the exe is created. How can this error be remedied? Reinstalling Python and cpplint does not solve the problem.
C:\Users>python -V
Python 3.5.1
C:\Users>pip list

setuptools (18.2)
C:\Users>pip -V

C:\Users>pip install cpplint

Installing collected packages: cpplint
Running setup.py install for cpplint
Successfully installed cpplint-0.0.6
C:\Users>where.exe cpplint

failed to create process.
Yep, this is a pip bug.
The workaround is to add quotes around the path in the first line of generated python scripts in the \Scripts\ directory. In the case of cpplint this is 'cpplint-script.py'. In your case the generated first line should something like:
#!c:\users\john hagen\appdata\local\programs\python\python35\python.exe
and should be edited to:
#!"c:\users\john hagen\appdata\local\programs\python\python35\python.exe"
