I want to install zipline in my Mac OS X Mojave (0.14.2 (18C54)) using Python 3.5.4, but the installation fails every time the compiler tries to install bcolz through pip install.
I've already tried to re-install Xcode to the latest version (10.1) and also download the latest Command Line Tools from the official Apple Developer website since the command xcode-select -all is no longer supported. As far as I know the header files in Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Files are intact so there's no need to import them from a previous version which I don't have or search them elsewhere over the Internet.
Here is the code from my virtual environment. Typically I would get an error that it cannot locate header files that's why I run it with specifying CFLAGS
(zipline) ~ $CXXFLAGS="-std=libc++" CFLAGS="-std=libc++" pip install zipline

wordcloud 1.7.0 provides a lot of wheels for w32 but not for Python 3.8. My advice downgrade to Python 3.7 64-bit.
If you want to install wordcloud for Python 3.8 you must have Microsoft Visual C++ 14.0 to compile C/C++ modules.
After pulling the last commit of flow-project, I executed green_wave.py with python3.7.4 and then got these errors consecutively.
All these errors happened after executed Running setup.py install for mpi4py ... error command.
Below that, you can see the snippet of error message.
What should i do?
Thank you.

did you make sure to follow the installation instructions for stable baselines before running the pip install? That is, did you run 'brew install cmake openmpi' before running this command? The error could be due to you not having an installation of MPI.
I am get some errors while trying to install google-cloud by using pip.
I tried the following commands to install google-cloud:
sudo pip install --upgrade google-cloud
sudo pip3 install --upgrade google-cloud
sudo pip3.6 install --upgrade google-cloud
But I am getting the following error by all these commands:

I think that some packages are being compiled by GCC and GCC is trying to find python.h. But python.h is missing, so the Process is exiting with error code 1.
I am using OpenSuse tumblebeed. I want a parmanent solution because I am making a application which I will distribute to client and these packages will be installed automatically in user's machine.
You need the Python Development headers.
Install sudo apt-get install python-dev or sudo apt-get install python3-dev first.
Then try again.
Update
Realized you're on OpenSUSE so it'll be sudo zypper install python-dev or sudo zypper install python3-dev
Edited:
I installed Google Cloud Speech by using the followning command:
pip install --upgrade google-cloud-speech
when I run Python Program to convert Audio into Text using Python3, I get an error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/home/prateek/Google Drive/projects/linuxAI/src/linuxAI.py", line 2, in <module>

File "/usr/lib/python3.6/site-packages/google/cloud/speech/__init__.py", line 22, in <module>

File "/usr/lib/python3.6/site-packages/google/cloud/speech/client.py", line 22, in <module>
from google.cloud.client import Client as BaseClient
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'google.cloud.client'
But If I run the same program using Python(Python2), I get the correct output.
I want to run the program using Python3. I am using OpenSuse Tumblebeed.
So, I tried the following commands to install google-cloud:
sudo pip install --upgrade google-cloud
sudo pip3 install --upgrade google-cloud
sudo pip3.6 install --upgrade google-cloud
But I am getting the following error by all these commands:

I think GCC is trying to find python.h so the process is exiting with error code 1.
I'm not familiar with OpenSuse but, as you describe it, I believe python3 cannot find google-cloud-speech package because "pip" will only make it available for your python2 binary. The solution (on debian) should involve:
Installing pip3 (if you haven't already):
sudo apt-get install python3-pip
Use pip3 to install Google Cloud Speech
sudo pip3 install --upgrade google-cloud-speech
I'm using Jupyter Notebook and I want to import an external toolbox called bluepyopt. As it currently only runs in Python 2.7, I set up a Python 2.7 Kernel as described here. So I can change my kernel to python 2 in Jupyter Notebook.
If I want to import the module using
import bluepyopt as bpop
I get the error
ModuleNotFoundError Traceback (most recent call last)
<ipython-input-1-83e46e18aae9> in <module>()
3
4 # to create electrical cell models
----> 5 import bluepyopt as bpop
6 import bluepyopt.ephys as ephys
7
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'bluepyopt'
I install bluepyopt the way I usually install modules with
!pip install bluepyopt
This also gives me an unsual super loooooong output. I don't know what is important here, so I will post all of it just to be sure. This only occurs in python 2.7 however, in python 3 everything works fine! Any idea why it is like that?

As i can see the module is not properly installed and giving dependency for Microsoft Visual C++ 14.0.
Try to install Microsoft Visual C++ build tools from this link http://landinghub.visualstudio.com/visual-cpp-build-tools
Then try installing the module using pip again
pip install bluepyopt
