I have installed exiftool (https://smarnach.github.io/pyexiftool/) and I am able to import the library, but I get the following error when trying to run the test data just to see if it works.

I also did run the setup code that is in the exiftool folder and still no luck. I think it might be a library issue or path or the (init.py) file, but I've tried several ways and so I'm here to ask if anyone else has a solution or ideas for me to try and fix it.
I'm running Python 3.6.6 and have tried other versions.
(I can run exiftool in command line, but I have encoded BASE64 images that exiftool doesnt work in command line to fully decode.)
Thank you StarGeek! The problem was that I didn't have the exiftool command tool (the separate application of exiftool) in the right PATH env variable. Once I added the application to the PATH env variables i got it to work. Also in the python exiftool code at line 70 it says that you have to have it in the path or direct it to the executable, that I had missed. Thanks again!

I'm using the Pannellum panorama viewer to do a tour experience of a campus. To improve the support for mobile devices I want to use the Pannellum's multiresolution format using the included python script to generate it form images.
I'm a mac user with very little python knowledge and gotten around to be able to execute the script from terminal (yay!)
The comments on the python script state the requirements:
# Requires Python 3.2+ (or Python 2.7), the Python Pillow package,
# and nona (from Hugin)
I'm running Python 2.7.10, I did install the Pillow package and got the
'nona' executable from the the 'HuginStitchProject.app' (From the package content) which was downloaded from their sourceforge mirror.
When executing the code with python generate.py basketball_court.jpg from the folder contaning the nona executable mentioned earlier, the *.jpg file and generate.py, I get the following error which I am not able to resolve:
Processing input image information...

OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory
I see the OSError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory, which file am I missing? Which file is it unable to see?
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
EDIT: I'm pretty sure that none executable I've got is not the dependency. I don't even know what a executable should look like. Should I be looking for a nona.py, nona.exe, nona.sh or something else?
subprocess.check_call is used to run something in the terminal, but looks like it cannot find the nona executable.
If you edit generate.py and put print(args.nona) before line 106, you'll see what it's trying to call.
Most likely you need to check paths, perhaps put the nona executable in the same dir as generate.py or the one you're running from. Also check it has the executable flag set.
Checking the generate.py source, I see it gets args.nona from its own parameters, or uses a default if you don't explicitly set it (line 59).
The default is set by trying to find an executable called "nona", else set it to None (line 37).
I wrote a script to extract frames from a database I have stored on my computer desktop. I wrote the code on a different computer (new macbook pro 2016) as my computer's harddrive died. I was finally able to restore my computer (and therefore returned the new computer I wrote the code on).
I am trying to run the same script, completely unchanged and I keep getting this error: (The line btwn ** ATTENTION** is the printed command line.)

Everything is in the same place as it was on the new computer where it was able to run successfully. Does anyone have any idea what it could be? Could my version of python have anything to do with it? Could it be a larger issue on my computer? Any tips for debugging whats caused this error? I've already printed the command (matches perfectly), used shlex.split("mycommandline"), checked my current directory in the script...
I'm not sure I'm interpreting the question correctly, but I think you're passing a path to a script in some way (maybe hardcoded, maybe as a commmand line parameter, maybe in a config file), and that path is getting to the ATTENTION line.
In the ATTENTION line, shouldn't the path be ~/Desktop/path/to/file instead of /Desktop/path/to/file? If it is, that would explain why your application can't find the file.
I have checked out a folder from SVN to my desktop. Actually I need to extract the information like SVN revision no, URL and status for the specific file in the local working copy. Here is the line of code which I am using to extract those info.
file = svn.local.LocalClient(filePath[i][j])
fileInfo = file.info()
This works perfectly fine in my desktop. But the same thing when I tried to do it in my laptop it throws the following error

Can anyone pls help me what is wrong? I have installed all the packages which I installed in my desktop. But don't know what is the problem exactly.
Thanks
You need to recheck that the files on your laptop and make sure:
The files actually exist / are the correct files.
They are in the directory you are trying to access them from.
The file names are spelled correctly.
If the system could not find the file specified it means something is missing / misplaced, or the file you are trying to access is not spelled the same as the one you actually want. Its most likely a simple error that could be found by just looking over everything and making sure its all the same as your desktop.
I got the solution for this. Actually the problem was with subversion command line client version. The client version need to be higher than the TortoiseSVN server version, whereas mine was a lower version which created this problem. Now it works fine :)

As obvious,
I am using Windows 7, and have:
Python 2.7.3
JDK
Android Emulator
Device drivers for my Sony Tipo.
Please help!
By the way,
I would prefer to get this running on my phone first. I am thinking of moving to the emulator later(after the tutorial is completed).
Is this question more suitable for https://android.stackexchange.com/?
I am not sure if this is still an issue for you, but I ran into the similar issue recently and managed to solve it so I will just leave a note here.
If anyone gets this kind of error, go to pgs4a folder and android-sdk folder. There, run SDK Manager.exe file. You will see a list of Tools and different android versions. Try to find the version that you are working on and install everything that is 'uninstalled'.
I managed to solve the above issue by installing everything under my current AND previous Android versions. Hope this will help anyone who ran into the same issue!
rename the folder android-sdk-windows to android-sdk

I agree with martineau, it is unable to find which. The script may have been written with the assumption it was going to be run in a unix environment which would most likely have the "which" command available and in the default PATH. Since it looks like you're running this on Windows, I don't think it's going to work.
It looks like there is some alternatives to which on Windows though, discussed here: Is there an equivalent to which on Windows?
