I installed openface using the link
But when i am importing openface in python it is giving an error
./util/align-dlib.py ./home/admin1/Dhoni/ align outerEyesAndNose ./aligned-images/ --size 96
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./util/align-dlib.py", line 24, in <module>
import openface
ImportError: No module named openface
Please help me!!!!!
If you are on Linux,
Clone the project :https://github.com/cmusatyalab/openface
cd openface
python setup.py install
Then create an empty file named __init__.py inside the openface/ directory
Try running the demo command : ./demos/compare.py images/examples/{lennon*,clapton*}
Note: If the demo fails due to dependency issue, try to install those dependencies. Like in my case I had to install following as well
luarocks install torch
luarocks install nn
luarocks install dpnn
Do this in your terminal:
cd /home/your_username/openface
python setup.py install
This should help you.

I'm trying to train TF2 for object detection. When I run model_main_tf2.py, I get the following error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Python_venv\trained_models\model_main_tf2.py", line 32, in <module>
from object_detection import model_lib_v2
ImportError: cannot import name 'model_lib_v2' from 'object_detection' (c:\Python_venv\tensorflow\lib\site-packages\object_detection\__init__.py)
How do I install model_lib_v2?
I tried reinstalling TF and reinstalling TensorFlow-object-detection-API but no luck. I went all over the internet looking for answers.
I found:
https://github.com/tensorflow/models/issues/7920
But they don't say how to install model_lib_v2
Unfortunately I cannot use TF1, the goal is to use TF2.
see https://github.com/tensorflow/models/blob/master/research/object_detection/g3doc/tf2.md
git clone https://github.com/tensorflow/models.git
## Python Package Installation
cd models/research
### Compile protos.
protoc object_detection/protos/*.proto --python_out=.
### Install TensorFlow Object Detection API.
cp object_detection/packages/tf2/setup.py .
python3 -m pip install --user --use-feature=2020-resolver .
You should be able to just go to line 32 in "C:\Python_venv\trained_models\model_main_tf2.py" and remove "from object_detection", since you are already inside the package.
replace:
"from object_detection import model_lib_v2"
by:
"import model_lib_v2"
I'm running arch and when I try to use aws in the terminal I get a python-like error:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/aws", line 19, in <module>
import awscli.clidriver
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'awscli'
This happened for pip as well which I resolved by python -m ensurepip but I don't know why it was like that in the first place. I even tried explicitly adding the path to aws to my PATH to no avail.
Well, pip and other applications are in fact python programs. Apparently you just lack the 'awscli' module. A first try would be just install this module.
Try this command
sudo pip install awscli --force-reinstall --upgrade
I need to install python wrapper for StanfordCoreNLP.
I have used git clone https://github.com/smilli/py-corenlp and also pip install pycorenlp and its showing success in both the cases, but when I run from pycorenlp import StanfordCoreNLP, its showing ModuleNotFoundError.
I checked its path if it installed or not. It is installed at "C:\Users\simra_000\Anaconda3\Lib\site-packages\pycorenlp" using pip
and using git clone also it is installed at "C:\Users\simra_000\py-corenlp"
from pycorenlp import StanfordCoreNLP
Traceback (most recent call last): File "", line 1, in
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'pycorenlp'
check if the module was installed by:
pip list
also you can add this code to install the module if it's not installed:
import pip
required_pkgs = ['pycorenlp']
installed_pkgs = [pkg.key for pkg in pip.get_installed_distributions()]
for package in required_pkgs:
if package not in installed_pkgs:
with suppress_stdout():
pip.main(['install', package])
also check the version of python that you are used to run the script and the version of pip, for example if you are using python3 and you install the module via pip (python2) the module was installed for python v.2 only
otherwise check the name of your script, so if the name of your script is pycorenlp.py the import will not work, and you need to change the name of your script
hope that helps you
Im trying to install and use stats_exporter from opencensus.ext.stackdriver using the following guide: opencensus-ext-stackdriver
after installing it through pip:
pip install opencensus-ext-stackdriver
Im trying to import it and:
from opencensus.ext.stackdriver import stats_exporter as stackdriver
ImportError: cannot import name 'stats_exporter' from 'opencensus.ext.stackdriver'
When comparing the Git repo, and my local venv/lib/python3.7/site-packages/... it seems like the pip version isn't compatible with Github , so i tried to install it though cloning, and using setup.py
pip install ../opencensus-python/contrib/opencensus-ext-stackdriver/dist/opencensus-ext-stackdriver-0.2.dev0.tar.gz
which gives me the following error:
(venv) Yehoshaphats-MacBook-Pro:present-value yehoshaphatschellekens$ pip install ../opencensus-python/contrib/opencensus-ext-stackdriver/dist/opencensus-ext-stackdriver-0.2.dev0.tar.gz

Similar errors of this type indicated that i need to upgrade setuptools, tried that also :(
This post suggests that it might related to the fact that i'm using python3, which isn't completable with version though i really need to install this package on my python3 venv.
Any Help on this issue would be great!
Try this:
#!/usr/bin/env python
import os
from opencensus.common.transports.async_ import AsyncTransport
from opencensus.ext.stackdriver import trace_exporter as stackdriver_exporter
from opencensus.trace import tracer as tracer_module
from opencensus.stats import stats as stats_module
def main():
sde = stackdriver_exporter.StackdriverExporter(
project_id=os.environ.get("PROJECT_ID"),
transport=AsyncTransport)
tracer = tracer_module.Tracer(exporter=sde)
with tracer.span(name='doingWork') as span:
for i in range(10):
continue
if __name__ == "__main__":
main()
and
grpcio==1.19.0
opencensus==0.3.1
opencensus-ext-stackdriver==0.1.1
NB The OpenCensus libraries need gRPC too.
You will need:
a GCP Project and it's Project ID (${PROJECT_ID})
a service account with roles/cloudtrace.agent and its key.
Then:
virtualenv venv
source venv/bin/activate
export PROJECT_ID=[[YOUR-PROJECT-ID]]
export GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALS=/path/to/your/key.json
pip3 install --requirement requirements.txt
python3 stackdriver.py
I installed openface in a virtual environment by following these steps.
git clone https://github.com/cmusatyalab/openface
cd openface
python setup.py install
It gave me the following output after executing python setup.py install
running install
running build
running build_py
running install_lib
running install_egg_info
Writing C:\Users\Haneesh\PycharmProjects\Medium\venv\Lib\site-packages\openface-0.2.1-py3.6.egg-info
But when I am importing openface in python it is giving the following error
(venv) C:\Users\Haneesh\PycharmProjects\Medium\openface>.\util\align-dlib.py .\training-images\ align outerEyesAndNose .\aligned-images\ --size 96
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "C:\Users\Haneesh\PycharmProjects\Medium\openface\util\align-dlib.py", line 24, in <module>

ImportError: No module named openface
I tried importing openface in python console also, didn't work.
Openface as it is, gets installed on python2. You can see this line
python2 setup.py install && \
in the dockerfile
You can however try converting it to python3 with a help of modules like 2to3 or six. At the moment, if it's possible, using python2 is the best option.
