how to overcome this isuue?
As you can see from the error log, the problem here is that on your machine is missing Microsoft Visual C++ 14.0.
To fix this problem, simply install it, follow the link that you find in the traceback (this one), and try again with the command
pip install tesserocr
Reload Python directly with Anaconda, and use:
conda install -c simonflueckiger tesserocr

please suggest a way out of this
You can also try to install it with the .whl file.
Find your Python version
64 or 32 bit?
Find the appropriate file here
For example, my Python version is the 3.9 64bit I would download the "PyAudio‑0.2.11‑cp39‑cp39‑win_amd64.whl" file.
Open your CMD and go to the folder where the file is. Ex.: cd C:\Users\Miguel\Downloads
Install it: pip install PyAudio‑0.2.11‑cp39‑cp39‑win_amd64.whl
Hope it helped!
This answer from a StackOverflow question might help, as I had the same problem and it solved the problem for me.
First run your IDE or CMD as Administrator and run the following:
pip install pipwin
pipwin install pyaudio
Try these commands below:
pip install pipwin
pipwin install pyaudio
Looking at the error message it seems you require Visual C++ build tools.
The link to download that is also given within that error message.
In case the link does not work,You can download it here: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/visual-cpp-build-tools/
You can try this and incase errors still persist, reply to this thread.
Upvote if it helped!
PyAudio just doesn't have the wheels for Python 3.7 or higher. If you want to use PyAudio, it is best to download python version 3.6.9 here.
I wish you the best
-arivvid27
I tried with Python 3.9 and didn´t work, so I installed Python 3.8 too and pyaudio worked fine (I've double checked and downloaded both versions of pyaudio on https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#pyaudio).
I still don't know why it doesn't work on 3.9.
Did it work for someone on python 3.9? If yes, let me know what did you do. Thanks!
you should use python 3.6.9 or lower

EDIT: Looks like I have to install Visual Studio 2015...Can I install dlib without VS 2015? I already have older versions pre-installed with Windows.
I am using Python 3.5, trying to install dlib on PyCharm in the terminal and this is what I am getting, and every search on these errors I do... I find stuff on Visual Studio which I don't have the GUI + I don't have vcvarsall.bat in the VC folder of any of the Visual Studio versions (8, 11, 12, 14). I have searched a good amount before posting this question on the Web.
Do I need to download Visual Studio latest version to get vcvarsall.bat ?

Running the following in PyCharm Terminal: conda install -c conda-forge dlib=19.4

Huge thanks to birryree in the comments for letting me know!

The error you are receiving is: error: Microsoft Visual C++ 14.0 is required. Get it with "Microsoft Visual C++ Build Tools": http://landinghub.visualstudio.com/visual-cpp-build-tools. You need to read the error message carefully.
You just need to go to the link they have provided for you and follow the instructions: http://landinghub.visualstudio.com/visual-cpp-build-tools
Following below steps helped me overcome the error:
While installing the Visual Studio: Download Visual Studio
-> Desktop development with C++
-> Check C++/CLI support for v142 build tools (14.24)
Having the below dependency ready:
get Python --Version in CLI.
Download and install whl file from Twisted WHL file
pip install C:\"Twisted‑19.10.0‑cp36‑cp36m‑win_amd64.whl"
Finally Run:
pip install -v pyemd

You can download it manually from website

You can also try to download it from here unzip and start .exe file.
When facing the error message
Error: Unable to compile the binary module
you'll need to ensure rrdtool is installed. It seems it's impossible to install the rrdtool-python module without the underlying libs/binaries/headers already existing on your filesystem.
In general, installing the following packages on your machine should resolve this issue:
rrdtool
rrdtool-devel
for my specific use-case in RHEL8, installing the following allowed rrdtool-python to install smoothly:
rrdtool-1.7.0-16.el8.x86_64.rpm
rrdtool-devel-1.7.0-16.el8.x86_64.rpm
