Error when using pip install django_markdown - python

I am having the following error when doing pip install django_markdown, could someone please explain to me what the issue is?

Python is reporting an OSError at the bottom of the traceback, explaining that you're having a permissions issue with the file in question.
Try running as root first:
sudo pip install django_markdown
If that doesn't work, then you could try doing
sudo chmod +rwx /Library/Python/2.7/site-packages/django_markdown
though I doubt the latter will fix the problem if the former doesn't.

you don't have the rights to write to '/Library/Python/2.7/site-packages/', you can solve installing the package using sudo
sudo pip install django_markdown
anyway this is not a best practice if you need this package only for a specific application.
Take a look at virtualenv to properly manage python environment.

followed steps:
have python & pycharm environment installed
have pip installed
tried pip install beautifulsoup4 and get below error message

Pretty sure this is using the OS X system Python but can't work out how.
Ok - homebrew wants me to use pip2 not pip after reinstall.
I probably should have read the docs, but anyway thats not the main issue...
The top line of the file /usr/local/bin/pip is now
#!/usr/local/opt/python/bin/python2.7
This is the problem. Changing this line to either:
A. #!/usr/local/bin/python or
B. #!`brew --prefix`/bin/python
fixes the problem.
Note: I can't 100% blame this on homebrew. Note sure what happened here but the issue is fixed for me.
Also I could have run sudo pip ... but that would have messed with the macOS system site-packages directory which is generally considered not a great idea.

Installing Virtual Environment with PIP for Python Via Mac OS X Terminal

So, just a quick question. I've installed Pip for Python via Homebrew in the Mac OS X terminal. The next thing I tried to do was install the virtual environment via pip install virtualenv --and that's where I ran into a problem. I get the following error message:

Anyone know what to do?
I'm new to all this, so I'm completely at a loss as to what to do.
Thanks.
Have you seen http://softwaretester.info/install-and-upgrade-pip-on-mac-os-x/
this might help you i am windows user so its command is like pip install package-name but you must present in Scripts folder of the python27 in windows but i don't know about the mac-os-x . so do this also change your directory to python27/scripts and then use your command of pip
If this helps you.Support with thumbs up

I'm using Rasbian with NOOBS if that help figuring this out. I've just started studying programming so I have no clue what I need to do since using the guides results to above, so please explain this to an idiot.
pip fails to access some system paths and shows clearly that the user used to run pip does not have enough privileges to access them.
To solve this, try to run these commands as root using sudo:
sudo pip <options>
Otherwise, if you don't have sudo installed (this is almost impossible) or if you're just curious and know the root's password, simply log in as root and execute your commands without sudo:
su # or su root
# type the root's password
pip <options>
If you use this option, don't forget to log out after you've installed everything!

Python Pip Install "Egg" Error (Pandas and other modules)

Having issues installing some python modules (for example pandas) and also had some issues installing ipython notebook.
This error seems to have come up before for other folks (Python pip install fails: invalid command egg_info), but they were using Python 2.7, whereas I'm using 2.6 (default with my Mac OS 10.6). Also I tried easy_install -U setuptools and pip install --upgrade setuptools but neither worked.
This is the error I get for installing pandas:
Command python setup.py egg_info failed with error code 1 in /private/var/folders/Wm/WmmbYincEnuCrAMtGBudAk+++TM/-Tmp-/pip_build_AWal/pandas

For installing iPython, this is the error that I get:

Any thoughts on what to do?
UPDATE:
When I do sudo pip install pandas (another module that I can't install), I get a long long traceback with the end error message:

And traceback (a sample of it of the 100 or so lines) looks like this:

A permission Denied message would suggest you to run your command as root as suggested by Hackaholic.
try sudo pip install YOUR_PACKAGE
You might also want to have a look at virtualenv to use a more isolated environment.
Under debian based distributions, you might install python-virtualenv package with apt-get install python-virtualenv.
Then create a virtual environment names whatever by typing virtualenv whatever (this will create a folder whatever inside your current folder.
Then cd to it and type bin/activate to enter this virtual environment.
From there try again your pip install command.
Might help
UPDATE :
You might try to use the suggested solutions available here
To sumup, try to add export ARCHFLAGS=-Wno-error=unused-command-line-argument-hard-error-in-future inside ~/.bash_profile
This question comes first in Google, but the second one actually worked:
pip install -U setuptools
pip install ez_setup
