Ipython ? not working - python

I installed Canopy on my ubuntu 12.04 lts OS.
I am mainly using this for data analysis. I realised that the ? operator is not working.
For example. When I declare a integer b = 0 in the terminal and type b? it comes up with the following:

FSSpec Error Handling in Python - Timeout Error

I am trying to get Terraclimate Data from Microsoft Planetary and facing time out error. Is there a possiblity of increasing the timeout time ? Please find the code below and the error I am facing. I am using fsspec and xarray for downloading spatial data from MS Planetary portal.
import fsspec
import xarray as xr
store = fsspec.get_mapper(asset.href)
data = xr.open_zarr(store, **asset.extra_fields["xarray:open_kwargs"])
clipped_data = data.sel(time=slice('2015-01-01','2019-12-31'),lon=slice(min_lon,max_lon),lat=slice(max_lat,min_lat))
parsed_data = clipped_data[['tmax', 'tmin', 'ppt', 'soil']]
lat_list = parsed_data['lat'].values.tolist()
lon_list = parsed_data['lon'].values.tolist()
filename = "Soil_Moisture_sample.csv"
for(i,j) in zip(lat_list,lon_list):
parsed_data[["soil","tmax","tmin","ppt"]].sel(lon=i, lat=j, method="nearest").to_dataframe().to_csv(filename,mode='a',index=False, header=False)
I am getting the following error

When terminate celery chain conditionally, it not return the data

I have chain of tasks, and want to terminate conditionally, I am following steps in https://stackoverflow.com/a/21106596/243031 but after that, we are not getting the output.
I have tasks as
from __future__ import absolute_import, unicode_literals
from .celery import app
#app.task(bind=True)
def add(self, x, y):
if (x + y) % 2 == 0:
self.request.callbacks[:] = []
return x + y
means when the sum is even and its part of chain, then stop that chain.
But it gives error.

Python/Numba: Trouble creating custom type using Numba Extension API

I am trying to create a custom Numba Type. I am having issues boxing and unboxing Numba Numpy Arrays to a Native Numpy Arrays.
I have searched online for similar issues and followed the documentation example to the best of my ability. (https://numba.pydata.org/numba-doc/latest/extending/interval-example.html).
I have tried to interpret (https://github.com/numba/numba/blob/master/numba/targets/boxing.py) but it is quite difficult. Therefore, I think I might be doing something small wrong.
Below is my current attempt at including a Numpy array in my custom type.

RuntimeError: cuda runtime error (59) : device-side assert triggered at /pytorch/aten/src/THC/generic/THCTensorCopy.cpp:20
There is no information about the real cause, I tried to get the stack trace by forcing cuda to run on one gpu (as suggested here) using a cell like this
!export CUDA_LAUNCH_BLOCKING=1
But this does not seem to work, still having the same error with.
Is there another way that works with Google Colab?
Be sure that your targets values starts from zero to number of classes - 1. Ex: you have 100 classification class so your target should be from 0 to 99
!export FOO=blah is usually not useful to run in a notebook because ! means run the following command in a sub-shell, so the effect of the statement is gone by the time the ! returns.
You might have more success by storing your python code in a file and then executing that file in a subshell:
In one cell:
%%writefile foo.py
[...your code...]
In the next cell:
!export CUDA_LAUNCH_BLOCKING=1; python3 foo.py
(or s/python3/python2/ if you're writing py2)
Switch Hardware Accelerator Type to "None" under Runtime->Change Runtime Type . This should give you a more meaningful error message.
The proper way to set environmental variables in Google Colab is to use os:
import os
os.environ['CUDA_LAUNCH_BLOCKING'] = "1"
Using the os library will allow you to set whatever environmental variables you need. Setting CUDA_LAUNCH_BLOCKING this way enables proper CUDA tracebacks in Google Colab.

Problems with connecting to IBM Informix Database with IPython notebook and SQLAlchemy
