I think the problem is these two lines

that do not capture the values correctly, do you know how to solve it?
You wanted to get them from GET method, but instead you gave a dictionary, so I guess you sent it via POST. Instead of posting dictionary you should go with url:

And you had probably a typo. You had plural "comics" in dictionary and you seek for "comic" singular.
And if you want to have data with POST method, just change def get(...) to def post(...).
I am creating a SAM web app, with the backend being an API in front of a Python Lambda function with a DynamoDB table that maintains a count of the number of HTTP calls to the API. The API must also return this number. The yaml code itself loads normally. My problem is writing the Lambda function to iterate and return the count. Here is my code:

I can get VisitorCount to be a string, but not a number. I get this error: [ERROR] TypeError: lambda_handler() missing 1 required positional argument: 'cou response = request_handler(event, lambda_context)le_event_request

[UPDATE] I found the original error, which was that the function was not properly received by the SAM app. Changing the name fixed this, and it is now being read. Now I have to troubleshoot the actual Python. New Code:

I am getting a syntax error on Line 13, which is

But I can't tell where I am going wrong on this. It should update the DynamoDB table to increase the count by 1. Looking at the AWS guide it appears to be the correct syntax.

I know it's different in PULL because then the message will be defined during the pull, but I'd like to keep it as PUSH, if possible.
You need to create a long-running process which is either able to continuously poll for new messages (pull subscription) or have a reachable endpoint to receive new messages (push subscription).

I could reproduce my bug using servside OAuth2.0 only so it's not javascript and the issue is that I must reload to make login / logout take effect and I want it to work without javascript. I have an idea that making logout twice makes logout effective so I could use a custom request handler for /login and/or /logour or just /sessionchange that will do a self.redirect but it's not the clean solution. Maybe you can take a look at the code and see why I must logout twice ie I must reload and can I workaround this using a self.redirect ? Am I using cookies the right way, the new cookie, or do I get it mixed up? I'm doing this both for the website and for the FB app. I'll be glad if you can come with any suggestion. There's a background of 2 related questions from before I removed the Javascript. And BTW should I use class Facebook or facebook.py? I think I commented out where the old cookie is set and that this will be correct once OAuth 2.0 handles my authentication serverside. Can you comment or answer? Thank you in advance if you can review and comment.

Now looking at the code that does this it seems to me that I'm confusing the module facebook with the variable facebook where one is the class facebook from the example project and one is the new recommended module facebook.py:
