I am trying to make use of the streamlit SessionState, when I import SessionState. I get the following error: ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'SessionState'
when using he SessionState
Here is a snipnet of my code:

Has anyone encountered this and how did you fix it? There are no resources online

Seems like you have to download this gist and put it into your project in order to use SessionState

I've seen countless issues here on stack about this but still can't figure out why I cant get mine to work. I have a 2 .ipynb files and I'm looking to import a class from one file to the other as follows:
CV_Screening_Interface:

When I try to import class CV I get an import error
from CV_Screening_Interface import CV
OR
test = CV_Screening_Interface.CV()
ImportError: cannot import name 'CV' from 'CV_Screening_Interface' (CV_Screening_Interface.ipynb)
I checked PYTHONPATH, I have an empty init.py in the directory already. What's weird is that importing the module works, but importing the class in the module doesn't.
Note in CV_Screening_Interface CV class works perfectly fine so I don't think there is any issue with it specifically. Probably need a if name="main" inside it?
Ok so this solved my problems:
I created a new ipynb called ClassFile.ipynb and it only contains the Class CV without importing any packages
Then i converted ClassFile.ipynb to ClassFile.py and imported it to FirstProgram and it worked.
I'm new to python and I'm having this problem that I can't figure it out.
My file structure is:

On Criador.py I have several functions, for example:
def doSomething():
pass
def doSomethingElse():
pass
and Im trying to use one of this functions on the Controller.py file:
The first thing I did was, on the Controller.py:
import Controller.Criador
and then tried to use that function as:
Controller.Criador.doSomething()
After running Controller.py, I got this error:
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'Controller.Criador'; 'Controller' is not a package
I tried several other things, like:
from . import Criador
or
from Controller.Criador import doSomething
or
from Controller import Criador
and nothing helped, just changed the errors to:
ImportError: cannot import name 'Criador'
and
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'Controller.Criador'; 'Controller' is not a package
and
ImportError: cannot import name 'Criador'
Can someone give me a light about this? I'm using PyCharm and it does not give me any error when I declare the imports, only when I run the file
If Controller.py and Criador.py are in the same folder, you can do this inside Controller.py:
import Criador
Criador.doSomething()
I am trying to import a custom function from another python file but keep getting an error NameError: name 'testme' is not defined. I confirmed that I am importing the file correctly according to this SO post and that the function is top level. What else can I try to fix this?
My main python file is:

Not sure if it makes a difference but I am running the main python file from within a Jupyter notebook, and have a compiled version of dbconn.py in the same directory
In response to the suggestions I tried:
df=dbconn.testme(categIds)
got the error:
module 'dbconn' has no attribute 'testme'
You Have to follow these fox exact import
1)import <package>
2)import <module>
3)from <package> import <module or subpackage or object>
4)from <module> import <object>
in your case, you have tried
from dbconn import testme
you have to use only packages in from section and module in import section
like >>
from testme import dbconn
Importing UTILS classes into Inventory - can it be done?
I have created a custom LDAP data importer as part of creating my inventory class. The LDAP schema we have wasn't similar enough to the LDAP plugin provided in samples.
My class is called ldapDataModule; the class is in:
/home/agt/ansible/agt_module_utils/ldapDataModule.py
My "$HOME/.ansible.cfg" file has the following:
module_utils = /home/agt/ansible/agt_module_utils
When running my Ansible inventory module, I get the following output:

I was able to do the following as a "work around". I'd still like to hear from Ansible guru's on proper use of "module_utils" variable from ansible.cfg

Chaps I am going through what is apparently a #1 problem for python novice. I have been through some tutorials but I really can t get it works. Here is the code :

Even though the module DOES exist and is in the same folder as every other modules. It is able to see the get_settings one but not dataython. I ve tried on another machine but still got the same trouble.
I tried to go through import sys, sys.path.append but I might have done something wrong because it still doesnt work.
Any help would be much appreciated.
EDIT : still doesnt work when I write this on top of my code :

Ok. I got it now. Not a no brainer so here is the amended code :

the mistake I was doing was keep writing :
