Can't parse HTML by the Python - python

I use the HTMLParser library for parsing html code. When I override handle_starttag method i retrive only fragments with "root" elements. I need extract some links from the table. I split the html string and try parse fragments, but the result the same. Whent i try parse the following fragment:

I recieve only td tag without any nested tags.
Anybody had this problem?

Can I humbly suggest a replacement for HTMLParser - BeautifulSoup? I am sure it will help you to solve your problem very fast.

Find "a" element in BS4 by partial class name not working?

I want to find an a element in a soup object by a substring present in its class name. This particular element will always have JobTitle inside the class name, with random preceding and trailing characters, so I need to locate it by its substring of JobTitle.
You can see the element here:
It's safe to assume there is only 1 a element to find, so using find should work, however my attempts (there have been more than the 2 shown below) have not worked. I've also included the top elements in case it's relevant for location for some reason.
I'm on Windows 10, Python 3.10.5, and BS4 4.11.1.
I've created a reproducible example below (I thought the regex way would have worked, but I guess not):

To find an element with partial class name you need to use select, not find. The will give you the <a> tag, the href will be in it

Anything similar to "until" in CSS selector?

I would like to get movie names available between "tracked_by" id to "buzz_off" id. I have already created a selector which can grab names after "tracked_by" id. However, my intention is to let the script do the parsing UNTIL it finds "buzz_off" id. The elements within which the names are:

Btw, I would like to parse the names using this selector not to style.
this is a reference for css selectors. As you can see, it doesn't have any form of logic, as it is not a programming language. You'd have to use a while not loop in python and handle each element one at a time, or append them to a list.

Scraping the links from a specific url

this is my first question if I have explained anything wrong please forgive me.
I am trying scrape url's from a specific website in python and parse the links to a csv. The thing is when i parse the website in BeautifulSoup I can't extract the url's because when I parse it in python I can only get <div id="dvScores" style="min-height: 400px;">\n</div>, and nothing under that branch. But when I open the console and copy the table where the links are and paste it to a text editor it pastes 600 pages of html. What I want to do is to write a for loop that shows the links. The structure of the html is below:

What am I doing wrong? I need to automate a system for python to do rather than pasting the html to text and extracting links with a regex.

if you are trying scrape urls then you should get hrefs :
urls = soup.find_all('a', href=True)
This site uses JavaScript for populating its content, therefore, you can't get url via beautifulsoup. If you inspect network tab in your browser you can spot a this link. It contains all data what you need. You can simply parse it and extract all desired value.

It seems like the html is being dynamically generated by js. You would need to crawl it with a crawler to mimic a browser. Since you are using requests, it already has a crawler session.

After this you can do the parsing, additional scraping, etc.

I assumed you are using Beautifulsoup since you are using class_ attribute dictionary-
If there is one div with class name hzi-font hzi-Man-Outline then try-
str(profilePageSource.find(class_="hzi-font hzi-Man-Outline").findNext('div').get_text().split(":")[-1]).strip()
Extracts 'Lisa Staprans'
Here findNext navigates to next div and extracts text.
I can't test it right now but I would do :
profilePageSource.find_element_by_class_name("info-list-text").get_attribute('innerHTML')
Then you will have to split the result considering the : (if it's always the case).

Maybe something is wrong with this part:
find(class_="hzi-font hzi-Man-Outline")
An easy way to get the right information can be: right click on the element you need in the page source by inspecting it with Google Chrome, copy the xpath of the element, and then use:
profilePageSource.find_element_by_xpath(<xpath copied from Chorme>).text

I am familiar with BeautifulSoup and Regular Expressions as a means of extracting text from HTML but not as familiar with others, such as ElementTree, Minidom, etc.
